Clearwater Drifter Guides

Will Burks Recently joined Evelyn's outfit and has established himself as a dependable and hard-working guide. Having grown up in Idaho, he became passionate about Idaho's rivers, fishing, and steelhead at a young age. Will's summer months are spent Smokejumping out of Missoula, MT, then returning to Idaho for steelhead season in the fall. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fly fishing, whitewater sports, and can be found on the Clearwater and Grande Ronde rivers all winter long.

 Thad Ledgerwood

Resides in Riggens Idaho with 3 children and a great wife of 16 years - Thad has been fishing with the guide shop since 2000. When the season on the Clearwater is over Thad keeps rowing the white water on the Salmon River, this includes Multi day trips and bass fishing. By Trade he is a interior Architect woodworking specialized in stair systems. When the fishing is over he sets time aside to be Mr. Mom with his 3 children, and ski's with winter months.

Kip Fry lives in Lenore, Idaho.  He has guided for Evelyn for over 18 years.  Kip grew up hunting and fishing, and when the opportunity came, he decided to make a career out of fishing.  He guides full-time, whether it is Steelhead and Salmon fishing on the river, or chasing Kokanee up on the Reservoir.  Kip is an avid angler be it with fly or conventional tackle.  His passion for fishing always equips him with a positive outlook and a timely tale. When not guiding he spends much of his time fishing or hunting.

Scott Willumsen lives in Montana and has guided for Evelyn for the last 9 years.  Growing up fishing on the Montana rivers, lead him to guiding.  When he's not working on the Clearwater, you can find him plying his trade on the rivers of Montana, or perhaps even on Palmyra Atoll appoximately 1,000 miles due south of Hawaii.  He enjoys every opportunity to fish and hunt in his spare time.

Greg Mahorney resides in Kooskia with wife Andrea and their two sons, William and Ian.  Greg has been guiding for Evelyn for 7 years.   His father introduced him to fishing at the age of 5; he still recalls sitting on the dock fishing for perch.  Outside of guiding, Greg is a chef and enjoys hunting, baseball, and gardening.

John Parker lives in McCall, Idaho and just recently became engaged to Amy Klingler.  He has guided for Evelyn for 10 years.  He grew up hunting and fishing with his Dad.  His love for fishing got him into guiding.  Outside of fishing he has a natural talent for woodworking, and owns his own business, specializing in custom woodworking and remodels.  So when he's not on the water you may find him remodeling a kitchen or bathroom.

Kris Frost lives in Asotin, Washington with wife, Jessie and step-daughter Ceira. He has worked for Evelyn for 10 years.  When not guiding he works construction to support his guiding habit, and spends time in the outdoors hunting with his dog, Sugar.
